Our Programs

Anna Marie’s Alliance Shelter Program

Anna Marie’s Shelter provides emergency housing for individuals and families escaping relationship abuse. The shelter is a safe place where victim-survivors receive information, referral, and confidential advocacy services.

The Jill Eckhoff Transitional House is a place where individuals and families can gain skills that allow them to support themselves and their children and begin to stabilize their lives after leaving our shelter, but prior to moving in to new homes of their own.

Our PetSafe shelter for cats, dogs, and other small animals is available to ensure the safety of family pets, easing the worry many of our residents have about leaving their furry friends behind, in potentially dangerous situations.

Children & Youth Programs

Our Children and Youth programs provide daycare, group support, activity time, and advocacy services to children who have witnessed and/or experienced abuse.

We operate a full-time, fully licensed daycare facility for the children staying in our shelter.

Community Advocacy

Criminal Justice Intervention Advocates assist victim-survivors with navigating the judicial system following an incident of relationship abuse. Advocates assist with filing Orders for Protection & Harassment Restraining Orders, provide lock changes & lease breaks, and can attend court as an emotional support. Safety planning is available for individuals who want to have a Domestic No Contact Order (DANCO) modified or dropped and for those who may be contemplating leaving an abusive situation.

On-Scene Advocates respond in person or via phone when called by the police and requested by the victim-survivor. Advocates provide resources and connection and work closely with our Criminal Justice Intervention Advocates to support the victim-survivor after an event has occurred.

A fully inclusive agency, Anna Marie’s Alliance makes all community support and advocacy programming available to anyone who needs it, including members of the LGBTQ community and other minority groups.

Prevention & Education

Our Prevention and Education Advocates work to provide prevention tools and education about relationship abuse to those who live in our community. Our goal is to increase awareness about the issues surrounding relationship abuse.

Prevention and Education Advocates provide education about relationship abuse through a variety of services tailored to fit the identified needs in our surrounding community, including tabling events, presentations in classrooms, workplaces, community groups and local colleges and universities, and 1:1 support for school aged youth.
